Recognizing Evil

Last night Media and I watched a movie about an Iranian girl that pointed out the complacency in the minds of people who are ruled by oppression. There is very little difference between tyrants of the various political persuasions. Oppression comes from a threat; a threat of physical force, a threat of being dishonored, a threat of social exile, a threat of fines, a threat of imprisonment, a threat to your livelihood.

This is what ACORN and the progressives do; they have done it in several Central American countries in the previous couple decades. It is a formula of political insurgency designed to demoralize and confuse a people into accepting the chains of oppression. We call it political correctness.

If you have any doubt that these are the tactics being used, here is Glenn Beck's latest report on how the Health Care debate was designed as a dishonest debate in 2006 by a felon while in prison for bank fraud.

The ends justify the means to these people. Does it really matter if it is a God that they feel is on their side, or some other ideology? If a person is not striving to be on the side of what is right (or God), and is justified in all action to accomplish an end... that is called evil.

The Inconvenient Oath and the founder's vision of the Constitutional Republic

The Constitution is not about the will of the majority, it is about the judgment of the majority.

The founder's vision and the underpinning of our entire political order is not in leaders or in the common people but in their interaction under the Constitution's design for ordered liberty.

By disregarding the opinions of Americans and passing the health care bill, the government has undermined the very legitimacy of our Republican Constitution. With regard to health care, signing statements would allow President Obama to re-write the legislation as opposed to signing or veto. This poses a fundamental threat to our Constitutional Republic, as the majority of citizens' judgment and the basic interactive form of government is infringe upon. If President Obama uses signing statements to re-write the health care bill before enacting into law, our very form of government will be imperilled.

The President is supposed to represent Americans everywhere not sell policy by undermining the realistic transactions of information (truth). Pushing people to hear only what they want to hear and not hearing what they need to hear makes citizens lose touch with reality. This loss of reality leads to mistakes in judgment with regard to domestic and external threats. This will lead to national failure as history has shown.

We must begin to consider how to reform our Constitutional Republic and raze the power of government by removing power not specified in the Constitution. "Preserve, Protect and Defend the Constitution" has become An Inconvenient Oath.
