There is a Tide in the Affairs of Men

At a Stand with Arizona rally in San Diego,
the media interviews the single counter protestor
and his friend who supported AZ
They Role in with the Tide

Radical progressives have fought for decades to undermine our country. They have tried violence, indoctrination, ad hominem personal attacks and smear campaigns, legal challenges to our traditions, and even assaults upon our religious systems. Where they have been most successful has been in the media. Overwhelmingly, journalists are indoctrinated to the mindless progressive agenda. It has gotten so bad, that Obama recently told Joy Behar on The View that it was "your job" to promote his agenda.

America Awake

As we watch progressives attempt to dismantle our republic, we must also remember that they fight a futile battle against the sleeping giant of America

There are three reasons Obama's assault on our America is like a political Pearl Harbor that only serves to strengthen and awaken us.

1. The economy under Obamanomics is so bad that companies are choosing to do business in the Congo due to political instability in the United States." "The next decade is likely to be a period of growing instability in the United States," was reported by the science journal Nature.  Everyone who does business in America understands that progressive economics and Keynesians like Paul Krugman are wrong.

2. Security. Underwear bombers, car bombers in Times Square, Fort Hood, open borders, etc... are all reasons why the progressive agenda is unacceptable to Americans. Unlike the elites who promote such failed and foolish policies of appeasement, the average American has no tolerance for weakness. Our freedom depends upon our security, and we will NEVER give up our freedom.

3. Radical Leftist Agenda.  Americans know that democracy is a prelude to dictatorship. That is why we have a representative Democratic REPUBLIC.  Glenn Beck has unveiled the progressive plan to destroy America, and it depends upon "elites" deciding that they know better and promoting a democracy as the precursor to complete dictatorship. America will never accept progressivism. Progressivism is the ideology of individual oppression and SLAVERY!

We fought a civil war against progressivism in the 1770's and declared our independence. We fought a second civil war because of progressivism in the 1860's. We rejected progressivism in 1920. We defeated it in World War II. We passed a constitutional Amendment as rejection of it after the FDR administration. We rejected it in the 1960's.  We rejected those ideas in 1980. We rejected that thinking in the 1990's. We reject progressivism today, and we shall ALWAYS reject it!

Progressive Thought
I want to impart to you the quote, which progressives on CSPAN (Obama Administration's Civic Agenda)upon the election of Mr. Obama, used to describe their struggle. This quote explains why they had to force through ObamaCare, financial reform, and will attempt to do more upon becoming lame ducks in November. They have always known that their battle is futile, but pursue it for power, glory, greed and most importantly because they can not see the internal and eternal truth that all men are created equal.

Brutus:

There is a tide in the affairs of men.
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

Julius Caesar Act 4, scene 3, 218–224

October and November

There are three factors that decide elections.
  1. Who shows up to vote.
  2. If votes are counted honestly.
  3. Who wins the arguments in October and November.
We all have a say in at least 2 of these items. We will vote. We will bring our friends with us, and we always win the argument! We shall wash away the sandcastles of government built by our would be dictators.

Solar Cycles and August 2010 Scientific American letter to the editors

I am an avid Scientific American reader, and respect that of late the magazine has become more balanced in coverage of scientific debate. Theory and research are not to be blindly accepted and in this vein of thought, I would like to point out that your article An Extra Quiet Sun may be related to another article, Threatening Ocean Life from the Inside Out.

A graph on page 69 shows measured pH from 1991 through 2006. I think that the sample period is interesting. http://wso.stanford.edu/gifs/Tilts.gif shows this to be a period encompassing 2 solar maximum when lower frequencies, deeper penetrating solar radiation may be a factor. Further, the graph on page 69 seems to confirm that during the solar minimum, pH declined at higher sea elevations.

I would love to see these results over a 22 year period, adding 2006-2012. My prediction as a lay person is that pH balances over that period with a slight time offset due to the lifecycles of various ocean life and heat accumulation/dissipation.

Further, the article An Extra Quiet Sun pronounced that 2008 was the solar minimum which may be an false proclamation. http://solarscience.msfc.nasa.gov/images/ssn_predict_l.gif shows that we reached solar minimum in late 2009.
