Top 1% Pay for Professors

My understanding is that the top 1% of personal income earners in America make $343,927 and pay 36.73% of Federal personal income tax. As these people are hated by the unemployed, debt laden college students, anti-American capitalism opponents, socialists, anarchists and occupiers, maybe we should identified who comprises this elite group.
