Tea Party Blogger Blamed for Syria

I, a tea party member, am responsible for the political and civil unrest in Syria. I also am to blame for President Barack Obama's handling of the issue. Further, it is I, not Congress who will decide whether the president is authorized to use force in Syria, the mess which I created. Neither President Barack H. Obama nor the United States Congress hold any blame whatsoever in this situation. This is my confession.

Al Qaeda Enemy, Enemy, Enemy ...REBELS

Certain facts have been omitted for national security reasons. However, this post is an full confession to the American people of my mishandling and mismanagement of the situation. It serves as exculpatory testimony for Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, Liberals, Progressives, NeoCons, Occupy, Tea Party, Independents, youtube movie makers and all other Americans.

Let me begin with a sincere apology. Because of me, my fellow Americans are frustrated, America's credibility in the world is shaken and the world's powers are at odds. These are consequences to which I was blind. For these things, I am gravely sorry.

The exercise of power and the accumulation of knowledge come at a price. The price we pay is the corruption of our own humility and conscience.  The founding fathers were right to implement the Separation of Powers in the U.S. Constitution. This situation serves as a reminder to lead by ageless wisdom:

The more prohibitions you have, the less virtuous people will be.
The more weapons you have, the less secure people will be.
The more subsidies you have, the less self-reliant people will be.

Therefore the Master says:
I let go of the law, and people become honest.
I let go of economics, and people become prosperous.
I let go of religion, and people become serene.
I let go of all desire for the common good, and the good becomes common as grass.

A great nation is like a great man;
When he makes a mistake, he realizes it.
Having realized it, he admits it.
Having admitted it, he corrects it.
He considers those who point out his faults as his most benevolent teachers.
He thinks of his enemy as the shadow that he himself casts.
My meddling was motivated by the pursuit of the common good. Therein lies the fatal flaw in the common good. It doesn't require good, it only requires justifications and rationalizations in the pursuit of self aggrandizement.

Star Spangled Banner
So, this crisis is not the doing of an anti-Syrian Youtube video. The president is not to blame. The military-industrial complex is not at fault. Oil, climate change and religion are off the hook. Finally, Congress is innocent in this situation. I take full responsibility.

As the only person willing to take responsibility, the authorization and decision to attack Syria becomes my responsibility. This decision shall not be abdicated. No excuses are offered. The buck has stopped here.

Whatever happens blame me, a tea partier, it is always my fault.

God bless America and long may the star-spangled banner wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave!

P.S.

Do you hear me now Obama, McCain, Congress? You no longer have to worry about politics and can do what is best for the country. Point all fingers here.
