ObamaCare Bear Attacks Congress

A grizzly bear is rampaging through the halls of congress. Elected officials and their aids are trying to escape injury to their health.

OK, not exactly...

The grizzly disaster, ObamaCare Bear has lawmakers and staff heading for the doors to save their health insurance from being mauled.

Progressive Fascists

A Fellow SLOBs author has been on a tear. Her blog is part of our group, and she writes at College Insurrection. She brings us an interesting video. "Why America’s Military Must Be Strong" describes how America has battled four fascist threats to freedom in the last hundred years. It includes the particularly interesting frame above regarding Islamo-fascism.

Watch the video for the details, but this frame captures much more than Islamic Supremacism. It explains why Americans do not trust progressives. Barack Obama and his supporting progressive network are precisely described in this frame.

Hatred of Democracy - Opposing voter ID laws, Scytl suppression of military votes, IRS suppression of conservative votes, lying about Benghazi to win the election, out right voter fraud - Chicago Style, and the latest ...the NSA data collection scandal coincidentally coinciding with Organizing or America's Biggest database in the world on American voters.

Hatred of Christianity - IRS targeting of conservative churches, anti-freedom of religion healthcare mandates for abortion, forcing the Boy Scouts of America into accepting homosexuals, and the general Bill Maher "invisible friend" anti-religious rantings of progressives in general. One might say, collective salvation and a corrupted social justice were used by racists like Margaret Sanger to use christian churches to promote black abortions.

Fanatical Anti-Americanism - Unending attempts to destroy our Constitutionally protected civil rights are everywhere in the news. We cannot list them all! Without the Constitution...THERE IS NO AMERICA.

Antisemitism - While many Jewish Americans finance and vote for progressives, the progressive movement is wholeheartedly anti-Israel. It is mind boggling. In Benghazi, heavy weapons were given to Islamic terrorists who shot down Israeli jets (at least one) with Obama provided MANPADS. Obama just appointed an Ambassador to the UN who wants to provide troops to "protect Palestinians" from Israel.

Desire for Utter Uniformity - Everything from Political Correctness to the Alinsky book "Rules for Radicals," on how to silence opponents, is aimed squarely at intimidating and shutting down any opposition. Consider Global Warming and how fraudulently they have presented their progressive demands.

Even the amazing artwork and slogans of President Obama are callbacks to fascism's cousin communism. Let's end with another graphic brought to us by the aforementioned blogger.

Edward Snowden is the NSA Whistleblower. The Guardian provided a video interview from Hong Kong with the former intelligence worker allowing him to explain his motivations. It is well worth watching. The headline of the interview is:

'I don't want to live in a society that does these sort of things'

Twitter exploded with the #IStandWithEdwardSnowden and #Snowden comments. In the interest of brevity, we leave it to you to to explore all the commentary. Occupy Wall Street is a major supporter of Mr. Snowden, which creates some interesting common ground. The NSA, IRS, DOJ, EPA and other scandals have revealed what this blog has alluded to, we are on the verge of a police state.

Commentary

The tea party supports the Constitutional Rule of Law, but we are apparently beyond that now.  It is time to consider the dangers exposed by curbing our intelligence agencies. We have known for years that the NSA monitors all electronic communication. There is no shock to the recent revelations. Hindering these operations would put us at increased risk as a people. The point is, SO WHAT?

Risk and fear are a part of life and even our super-powered government isn't immune. Consider a recent tweet we received:

Free people must live in risk and danger. America use to be "the land of the free and the home of the brave." those two descriptors go hand and hand. It IS time to discuss the level of risk each free person must be expected to endure to preserve freedom. 

Personally, I would rather legally carry a loaded handgun than rely on police. From my point of view, not only would my person be more safe and secure, but every citizen around me would be better off, including the police. There are choices a reasonable person should be expected to make. Housing, healthcare, personal protection, protection of property, retirement planning, and end of life planning are a fraction of the responsibilities free people traditionally embrace.  

Earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, volcanoes, and asteroids are risks inherent to all life, but planning (or not) for them is a responsibility for critically thinking free people. Terrorism, organized crime, foreign invasion and corrupt government are similarly risks inherent in our world. They are risks which our Constitution balanced with individual freedom. The question is whether Americans remain brave enough to take on the responsibilities of freedom or will fear push us into the false security of the police state. Individually, we cannot defeat terrorism, crime or war but again, SO WHAT? 

Mankind is not on earth to stop people from making wrong or even evil choices. We are here to make choices for ourselves. That is humanity. No government or community or village can make our decisions for us if we are to pursue life, liberty and happiness. The economics of freedom do not allow for that, reward comes with risk.

Your choice is simple, sell our freedom for security like Edward Snowden had done, or realize as quickly as you can that there is no adequate compensation for surrendering humanity. 

Allow me to put it another way. Either work for freedom or accept fate. But beware, fate is decided by whoever has the greatest lust for power.

Tommy Robinson Of English Defense League on The O'Reilly Factor

Tommy Robinson and the English Defense League have been demonized by most media organizations. Today, Mr. Robinson made his first impression upon me. On the O'Reilly Factor, he made a good showing. His concerns were reasonable and enlightening.

One fact offered, 48% of the British stock market is owned by Saudi Arabia. This is a believable statement. Britain rebuilt it's economy as a financial center a few decades ago. It is reasonable to believe that big oil investors could have grabbed significant power under such an economy. Mr. Robinson revealed this factoid while explaining why the British government is afraid of Islamic Supremacists.

IRS Targeted Conservatives To Suppress Vote

The IRS targeted conservative organizations to suppress their ability to collect money as charity organizations. Without adequate funding, conservative groups were less effective at educating voters on basic political topics. Progressive charity organizations were given special consideration in being granted charity status. This dichotomy biased the 2010 and 2012 elections by suppressing the conservative vote while simultaneously assisting progressive voices.

The facts of the matter become even more dire when one considers the power and money of unions on the political left. It has become clear that the anti-Tea Party IRS union (National Treasury Employees Union) was the vehicle used by the President to "punish opponents" in this targeting scandal.

According to the White House Visitors Log, provided here in searchable form by U.S. News and World Report, the president of the anti-Tea Party National Treasury Employees Union, Colleen Kelley, visited the White House at 12:30pm that Wednesday noon time of March 31st.

The White House lists the IRS union leader’s visit this way:

In White House language, “POTUS” stands for “President of the United States.”

The very next day after her White House meeting with the President, according to the Treasury Department’s Inspector General’s Report, IRS employees — the same employees who belong to the NTEU — set to work in earnest targeting the Tea Party and conservative groups around America. 

At this point, we could go into the history of Chicago voter fraud, the massive number of voter fraud convictions related to the 2012 election or the history of the Progressive movement as an attempt to gain power through uneducated, impoverished immigrants in the 1890's. The point, educated voters are not helpful to the left. Progressives rely upon the now famous "47%" of people receiving tax money.

President Obama won the 2012 election with 51.85% of voters. It is conceivable that the IRS targeting of conservative groups influenced at least 1.85% of the 2012 vote.

With these facts in mind, we must raise the question: Was the 2012 election legitimate?

The left's social-psychology team has been throwing bad defenses against the wall attempting to minimize the consequences of this exposed voter suppression effort. Another progressive effort is to demonize the victims of the targeting.

Intimidating The Tea Party

In honor of President Obama's administration attempts to silence and demonize critics, we created a new branding of the tea party movement. It is a given, President Obama is not using tanks to intimidate and silence. However, unions thugs, PR agencies, government agencies and internet bullies have been used by the left to demonize patriotic Americans concerned for our country and freedom.

Personally, my home was vandalized with fecal matter. Other tea party members have been subjected to intimidation from the IRS, EPA and other government agencies. While it would be difficult to prove the president's direct involvement in these matters, at least the IRS scandal may be directly linked via IRS union officials. Further, the many demonizations and mischaracterizations which have come directly from the president have created an atmosphere of intimidation across the country.

Furthermore, the Department of Homeland Security is buying up huge piles of ammunition, after reports pointed to "patriot groups" and former military as possible terrorists. With regard to Islamic Supremacist terrorists, the president is arming terrorists while disarming Americans. Finally, a foreign company named Scytl may have suppressed the military vote during the last election. Election fraud not investigated because progressives used chants of racism to focus the conversation on voter ID.

Rep. Michele Bachmann Done With Congress

Rep. Michele Bachmann has been one of the tea party's strongest voices. She understands the grave danger we face due to ObamaCare. Rep. Bachmann is also a "Butt Kicking" politician who has been targeted by the left for several years and defeated all challenges. It will be difficult to find another strong voice to take her place, however she has done her duty to the country. We salute her and thank her for everything she has done so far.

A tea party favorite quote from Rep. Bachmann is her description of progressives as "Frugal Socialists."

We are very concerned about ObamaCare. Our country and our world depend upon the good work of American researchers and drug manufacturers. For the last 25 years, development of antibiotics has been discouraged through regulations. We now face the possibility of a world without effective antibiotics.

If you have been to the doctor lately, you will have noticed the resistance and care given to prescribing antibiotics. This is required because our old antibiotics are being defeated by resistant strains of bacteria. The uncertainty caused by ObamaCare may lead to an epidemic of drug resistant bacteria as the health sector focuses upon compliance in the face of a disaster.

Rep. Bachmann's announcment that she will not be running for reelection:

Be assured, my decision was not in any way influenced by any concerns about my being reelected to Congress. I've always in the past defeated candidates who are capable, qualified, and well-funded. And I have every confidence that if I ran, I would defeat the individual who I defeated last year, who recently announced that he is once again running. And rest assured, this decision was not impacted in any way by the recent inquiries into the activities of my former presidential campaign or my former presidential staff. It was clearly understood that compliance with all rules and regulations was an absolute necessity for my presidential campaign, and I have no reason to believe that that was not the case.
