Can Great BBQ Save California?

This is a first and possibly a unique post for Doo Doo Economics. An open call for support of a candidate.

I am a strong Tea Party supporter but tonight is the night for a BBQ Party. At 5:30 pm tonight (Sept 20, 2011) Phil's BBQ is hosting a fund raising event for San Diego City Council Member and Mayoral Candidate Carl DeMaio.

Carl DeMaio is the first politician that has the support of virtually every local Tea Party member that I have talked to. He is the spearhead in the crucial push for Pension Reform.  Further, as a citizen concerned about politics and economics (notice I did not say "political economics"), I have attended several city council meetings and there is always one reasonable and prepared opinion from the city council and it comes from Carl.

I salute Phil's BBQ for hosting this event. The Tea Party will be supplanted for an eventing with an award winning BBQ Party. It makes me wonder if San Diego can be the first fiscally responsible large California city to replace dirty politics via dirty napkins.

Skip the line and enjoy the sublime flavor of Phil's BBQ by my side!
